After last week’s comfortable home victory over Tata Steel in first round of the WRU National Cup last Saturday, Pontypool return to WRU National Championship action this Saturday with the visit of Bedlinog to Pontypool Park, kick-off 2.30pm.

Earlier in the season Pontypool beat The Foxes at the Recreation Ground by 55 points to 24 back in September and also won the two games last season – a close 13-10 verdict at Pontypool Park in October 2016 and a 31-12 success at Bedlinog in April 2017.

Pooler are currently 14 points clear at the top of the league table with 13 straight wins and 63 league points out of a possible 65. Bedlinog are in 6th position, having won 5 and drawn 1 of their 12 matches played and have 27 league points.

The Pontypool replacements will be announced later.
