Pontypool welcome Merthyr to Pontypool Park on Friday evening for a re-arranged SWALEC Championship match, kick-off 7.15pm.
Pontypool is the only team to defeat The Ironmen at The Wern this season with a 20-13 success back at the beginning of October, so the question is will Pontypool be the only team to do the double over Merthyr this season?
If Pooler is to accomplish the double, they will do it without Dan Robinson, Marc Thorley, Rob Nash, Rhys Dyer, Jamie Edwards, Clayton Gullis and Nathan Brooks - who are all unavailable due to injury. The team is boosted however by Geraint O'Driscoll and Dan Brooks completing the squad.
It promises to be a cracking encounter as third place host with much to play for as every league point is vital.
Both clubs were defeated last time out with Pooler going down 26-11 to RGC 1404 at Eirias Park while Merthyr lost 12-5 at Bargoed.
