Long serving Pooler volunteer, Graham Howden, passes away.

Friday 19th August 2016

It is with great sadness that Pontypool RFC today announces the passing of one of the club's longest serving volunteers, Graham Howden.

Whilst Graham was a regular member of Pooler's match day stewarding team, he will be most affectionately remembered for his 'View from the Stand' column that featured in the club's match day programme for the last three decades.

In honour of Graham's service to Pontypool RFC, the club will place a blank 'View from the Stand' page in every match day programme for the 2016/17 campaign with messages of thanks from supporters.

If you would like your message to appear on the page, please post a comment in the box provided below.

On behalf of everybody at Pontypool RFC, we extend our deepest condolences to Graham's wife, June, as well as his family and friends.

Thank you Graham for all you have done for our great club and the town of Pontypool.
