PONTYPOOL, South Wales, 25th August 2016 – Pontypool RFC is pleased to announce that the Parkway Hotel & Spa has renewed its commercial relationship with the club for the 2016/17 WRU National Championship campaign.

The Cwmbran-based AA 4 star hotel will maintain its prominent position on the world-famous Pooler jersey and remain as the club’s AA Rosette accredited ‘home away from home’ for all functions held throughout the season.

“The Parkway Hotel and Spa is proud to support Pontypool RFC for the forthcoming season and we are all very excited by the excellent pre-season that has been enjoyed by the team,” said the Parkway Hotel and Spa’s general manager, Kerry Jennings.

“Our relationship with Pontypool RFC is entering its fourth season and we hugely value the relationships that we have formed with both the club’s supporters and team.

“Everybody at the hotel will be cheering on the club in their battle to top the Championship and we cannot wait to welcome everybody back to the hotel to celebrate their on-going achievements.”

On the continued partnership between the idyllic retreat and the club, Pontypool RFC chief executive officer, Ben Jeffreys, said: “From the management to the staff, the entire team at the Parkway Hotel and Spa continue to be a truly exceptional partner for our rugby club.

“At the forefront of our ambitions is to retain an environment of professionalism and togetherness, so to have a venue of the Parkway’s stature and warmth is a massive boost to our ability to maintain such high standards.

“The Parkway Hotel and Spa is a staple of the local community and we are enormously grateful for their continued support of our efforts.”

Pontypool RFC wishes to express its sincerest of thanks to the Parkway Hotel & Spa for their continued support of the club.
