Second meeting of Under 8s at the Park

After a meeting of these two young teams earlier in the season at Pontypool Park, Talywain Under 8s and Abercarn Under 8s served up a thrilling curtain raiser before our game with Llandovery.

The match-up brought a feast of running rugby and a total of 21 tries. Most committed players of the day were Ruby Williams of Talywain and Aberacarn's Jonah Churcher.

Tony Clarke, Community Outreach Co-ordinator, said: "I would like to sign off by thanking all players, coaches, clubs and families that have been involved with our community outreach programme not only this season but since it's inception.
