Leighton Jones praised the quality of his squad after cruising to a big victory over Trebanos RFC despite making 10 changes.
Aneurin Jenkins and Dai Langdon both made their debuts with hooker Jenkins bagging a brace and centre Langdon claiming seven points.
Adam Stratton came in to the side and helped himself to a brace while Garin Price showed superb footwork to claim a superb solo try late on.
Matthew Jarvis produced a storming performance as he crossed over twice and fired over 10 conversions with an Amosa Nove brace and efforts from Deon Smith and Cameron Regan completing the score.
“The boys played some nice stuff,” said head coach Jones.
“We worked on a few things in the week to put right from last week and that definitely took to the field.
“We’ve been saying it, the standards and competition for places is high.
“We are probably in a lucky position that we have the quality we have.
“The boys who have come in have put big shifts in and it’s great to see the competition there.
“We had a lot of ball, a lot of possession and there wasn’t a massive amount of defending to do but it was pleasing that we stuck to our structure and game plan and no-one got ahead of themselves.
“Last week our discipline was shocking and this week we have given away half the penalties we did last week so we’re going in the right direction.
“But that was still a bit high for the amount of ball we had so that is something we will definitely have a look at.
“Certain areas of our game really came good today.”
The bonus-point victory continued Pooler’s perfect start to the season and Jones believes his players are capable of continuing that run going forward.
“I think [they can] if the boys continue to produce the effort, energy and accuracy they showed today and keep training to the standards that keep being driven as high as they are," he added.
“We’re always looking to get the win but at the moment it [the bonus point] is something that we are aiming for.”
