Connor Chapman and Jacob Jeremiah have joined Pooler for the inaugural Super Rygbi Cymru season and will ensure there is serious competition for the #2 jersey.
Connor joins from Cardiff Met with Jacob coming through the excellent set up at Cwmbran.
On his signing Connor said ‘Pooler is a club with a lot of history, and I want to be a part of that legacy in future years. I was involved in the club from a young age and can remember what running out onto the park as a little boy was like and can’t wait to feel that for the first time in a jersey.
The coaching set up is great and I’ve worked with a few before and they got the best out of me which I’ll be looking or again. I’m excited to get going in Super Rygbi Cymru, which looks very exciting from a players perspective. I’m looking forward to seeing the opportunities it brings for us at Pooler and I can’t wait for the games to start’
Jacob said ‘I signed for Pontypool as it has always been my local club. I have heard so many stories of Pontypool’s achievements over the years and have always had hopes to be able to play for a team with such a rich history. More recently they’ve proved extremely competitive in whatever league they play in - I feel Super Rygbi Cymru gives me a fantastic opportunity to develop as a player in this team.
