Duo sign from Dragons and ready to roar

We’re delighted to be able to confirm that Walker has signed for Pooler for the 25/26 season. Walker has already made 22 appearances for the club and scoring 7 tries whilst being attached to the Dragons academy.

On signing Walker said ‘Signing here was an easy choice for me because of the famous history this legendary club has. There are a great bunch of boys here who made me welcome from the get-go. I’m aiming to use my speed, high work rate and hunger for the game and can’t wait to get cracking.

Tom Hancock is delighted to still have Walker available and said ‘Walker is a very exciting back-three player who is fast, elusive and powerful. We expect to see him develop into a lethal SRC finisher and will hopefully find his way back into the professional game at some point.

Ioan Duggan

Ioan joins Walker by putting pen to paper with us and has made a cracking impact this season. Duggs made 12 appearances during the inaugural Super Rygbi Cymru season touching down on 3 occasions but also made plenty of eye-catching defensive interventions

Ioan said ‘It was an easy choice for me to sign with Pooler. The support and following that we get from supporters is unmatched. The team that we’re developing is full of quality and really exciting to be a part of. I’ll be looking to bring a high work rate to the squad and want to score a lot more tries’

Craig Evans added ‘Ioan has endeared himself to the Pooler faithful with his committed, all action style. He’s powerful, fast and agile and is a very popular character within the group who is currently a part of the Wales u20s squad preparing for the JWC. We’re looking forward to seeing him kick on in Super Rygbi Cymru next season.
