Player Sponsorships & Pontypool RFC Supporters Club

Towards the end of last season we confirmed that Player sponsorship would be available for the 2025/26 and we’re delighted to confirm this is now live with individuals & businesses now able to show their support for the club and their chosen player. For the sum of £360 (£300 plus VAT) you will receive the following

·Recognition on our website with your logo/name displayed against your chosen player

·Match day recognition during our team lineup announcement

·Your chosen player will sign and present you with one of our genuine worn 2024/25 playing jerseys

It’s also extremely welcome to have seen the recent formation of Pontypool RFC Supporters Club. This group is to be run independently however we will be working in close partnership alongside the committee already established.

One of the main aims of the new supporters club is to generate additional funds for the benefit of Pontypool RFC with the aim of making us financially sustainable moving forward. This is being done in a variety of ways, notably an annual membership fee, coach travel for our away fixtures (available for all but with discounts for members), events throughout the season, merchandise and a monthly lottery.

Members of the supporters club have already been working hard at Pontypool Park, giving up their time, in recent months to provide vital upkeep at Pontypool Park on Sunday mornings. When you next visit you’ll notice the perimeter fence has a fresh coat of white paint and only this morning the weeds were being cleared from the bank. Like all clubs, Pontypool RFC would not be able to operate without the support of people freely giving up their time and we’re incredibly grateful to all those who’ve done so.

We’d really encourage all supporters, no matter how near or far you are or whether you’re able to attend games regularly or not, to get involved with the supporters club. You’ll no doubt have seen them across social media and they will be on hand to speak to any new and prospective members when our home fixtures begin.
