The eagle eyed amongst you will have noticed a new name on yesterday's team sheet and through pre-season and we're delight to formally welcome Ellis Davies to our ranks.
The exciting 21 year old came through Chepstow RFC's M&J section before spending 2 years with Bristol Bears academy. He then had a spell at Brothers Rugby Club in Brisbane and also represented the Queensland Reds U19's. He's currently studying at Cardiff University and has recently represented them in BUCS Super Rugby.
On joining Ellis said 'I feel very privileged to have signed for Pooler. The club has so much history and great support and it will be an honour to wear the jersey'
We welcome Ellis and look forward to seeing him in action.
We'd also like to bid farewell to Jordan 'Tojo' Thomas. Tojo made 65 appearances in the jersey scoring 23 tries in 2 spells at Pooler. Tojo joined us for the 2017/18 season as a teenager and made an immediate impact which continued for 3 seasons. He then had a spell at Ebbw Vale before returning to Pooler for the inaugural 2024/25 SRC season. Best of luck for the future Tojo
