Squad update

We're delighted to announce the signing of Carrick McDonough.

Carrick joins up with the squad this week having returned home from Australia where he represented Northern Suburbs RFC in Sydney and prior to that, Ebbw Vale. He played his mini & junior rugby at Newbridge & Cwmbran and can play across the back 3.

The speedster said 'It's great to join a club with so much history with an awesome fan base. It will be awesome to play alongside Scotty in particular, who coached me when I was growing up, but also the rest of the boys. I can't wait to get started'

We can also confirm that Dylan Davies has left the club. The scrum half made 4 appearances in the Jersey having joined at the beginning of the 24/25 season. Everybody at Pontypool RFC wishes Dylan all the best in his future endeavours.
