Morgan stays with on eye on the future

Morgan Allen isn't ready to hang his boots up just yet and has signed on for the 2026/27 season.

Morgan has made a total of 56 appearances over 2 stints - 36 of those have come over the past 2 seasons with 20 going back to 2008 when he first wore the jersey. Morgan is still putting some powerful performances in as shown by him topping our stats charts in defenders beaten for last season whilst leading our try scoring charts.

Morgan will also pick up an off field role as Team Liaison Manager. His focus will be on internal communications within our group whilst improving our links with local clubs & schools.

On his new challenge Morgan said ‘I’m still enjoying the challenge of playing top class rugby and I really like the look of out group next season with alot of talented youngsters complemented by some exciting signings. But I’ve also got one eye on my next steps so it’s great to be able to pick up a role working alongside the clubs management. Everyone in the camp was disappointed with last season and following a very honest review we’ve identified a few key areas that management and I can address to add value and ensure we are a tighter and stronger unit this coming season’
