Pontypool welcome traditional rivals Swansea to Pontypool Park on Saturday, with both teams making winning starts to the campaign. Swansea beat Cardiff Met 45-20 at St Helen’s while Pontypool enjoyed their first success at Narberth in six attempts with a 26-18 verdict.
Swansea have won the last 6 meetings between the two clubs and Pooler’s last victory over the All Whites was a 27-24 success at Pontypool Park on 6 March 2010.
Alun Wyn Davies, Ryan Harford, Rob Nash, Ben Sparks, Adam Scanlon, Rhys Dyer, Dan Robinson, Chris Laing, Sione Tuipulotu and Gareth Rusby Davies remain on the sidelines through injury.
