Pontypool travel to The Wern on Saturday to take on top-of-the-table Merthyr in the SWALEC Championship.
The Ironmen have made a perfect start to their campaign with four bonus-point wins in the first four matches. Pooler are sixth with two wins and a draw from their 4 games.
The results between the two clubs last season went with the home side – Merthyr triumphed 23-19 in December while Pontypool ran out 20-5 winners in April.
