Pontypool RFC is pleased to confirm that the club will once again permit for supporters to attend training sessions as of next week.
Following the return to full team training during September, the club has taken a precautious approach to safely returning to normal activities to mitigate the on-going risk of COVID-19.
However, from the next team training session on Tuesday 12th October 2021, supporters will be allowed to return to Pontypool Park to watch the team as they prepare for the forthcoming season.
Supporters will be required to enter the ground via the open gate to the left of the main entrance to The Ray Prosser Stand. Access into the building will remain restricted to club officials and players to further mitigate the risk of COVID-19. This measure will be lifted when league rugby returns in November.
Supporters are welcome to watch training from the seated area of The Ray Prosser Stand and the club asks that supporters use sound judgement in not congregating in close contact with staff and players for prolonged periods of time.
Please do not attend training sessions if you or a close contact have tested positive for COVID-19 or are displaying symptoms of the virus.
We look forward to welcoming supporters back to Pontypool Park and we hope you enjoy watching the team prepare for next season in the weeks ahead!
