Pontypool stars lead youth rugby session

The Under14s at Conway Road were the participants down at the Park on a cold, wet October evening.

The session was headed up by front row Peter Lloyd and together with able assistant Kyan Best, the forwards were put through a rigorous test of scrums, lineouts and ruck situations.

In the meantime at the opposite end of the ground the backs were put through a gruelling but enjoyable session headed up by Deon Smith, Matt Bancroft and Walker Price.

“The boys were a credit to Pontypool United and showed a great willingness to listen and learn from the talent we were able to call on.
