Welcome Joe!

We're delighted to confirm that Joe Davies has signed for the 2025/26 Super Rygbi season.

Joe came through the Dragons academy and made his debut in 2013 and has gone on to make 137 appearances. He made appearances for Pooler and Bedwas during the early stages of his career.

On joining Joe said 'I enjoyed my time playing at Pontypool last season, the supporters were great and me and my family were welcomed with open arms at the club. Pontypool Park is one of the most iconic grounds to play at in Wales and I can't wait to get started. Tom's put a great team together this year and I'm excited to be a part of it and add as much value as I can .

Tom Hancock is really pleased that Joe has signed and said 'Joe brings a huge amount of experience and know-how to our squad and will fit right in given he's already hugely respected from his prior times at the club. When the opportunity to sign Joe came about, the decision was an absolute no-brainer for me.
