In some early news for next season, we’re delighted to confirm that Caio Parry has signed with Dragons RFC for the 26/27 season - As part of a dual contract agreed between all parties, Caio also join our ranks and reinforces the collaborative approach we’ve taken since the advent of Super Rygbi Cymru.

Caio will already be well known to the Pooler Army having unleashed his devastating pace against us whilst playing for RGC this season, scoring 2 tries in the process. He’s been a regular feature in SRC highlight reels throughout the season and his eye-catching performances have seen him make the move down South in order to continue his development in professional rugby.

On departing RGC, Caio recently said ‘my time at RGC has meant so much to me and it’s hard to put into words. I’d like to thank everybody that’s helped me along the way going from Caernarfon through the RGC pathway and then into the senior group’

On his next steps he added ‘I’m really looking forward to joining Dragons and Pontypool on a dual contract next season. It’s a great opportunity for me to develop my game to the next level, learn from experienced players, and test myself in a professional environment. My ambition for the next few years is to breakthrough onto the professional scene and hopefully one day be able to represent my country.

We look forward to welcoming Caio to Pontypool Park in a few months, when pre-season training begins. No doubt Caio, along with the rest of the boys, will be welcomed by the grotto run too!
