Luke Daniel joins

We can confirm that Luke Daniel has signed a permanent deal for the 2026/27 Super Rygbi Cymru campaign.

Luke formed part of our squad last season in conjunction with the Dragons academy and was one of the few bright sparks in a disappointing day when we hosted Cardiff. He replaced his long term friend and Pontypool United team mate, Ryan Jones, from the bench and showed real promise.

Tom Hancock said ‘Luke has actually been around our environment for a few years now. His attitude and ability are impressive and it’s great to see the desire he has in wanting to earn the jersey. I’ve no doubt that Luke will grow into a key figure at this club over the next few years.

On joining Luke said ‘Making my debut was an extremely proud moment for me, being a local lad. It’s been brilliant to play next to players that I’ve watched for years , and can’t wait to hopefully play in the jersey again next season’
