Pontypool welcome Narberth to Pontypool Park on Saturday for the opening game in this season’s Championship.
Last season Pooler completed the double over The Otters with a first win at Lewis Lloyd Ground in the first game of the campaign 26-18, and gained a 22-10 verdict in the return fixture just before Christmas.
Pontypool have prepared well with three pre-season friendlies and will have to be at their best if they are to overcome Narberth, who are always very difficult to beat.
