On Saturday Pontypool travel west to the picturesque Dol Wiber ground to face Newcastle Emlyn in the WRU National Championship. Pooler are currently top of the table with eight wins from eight starts and 37 league points while Newcastle Emlyn are in 7th place with three wins from their eight games played and 15 league points.
Last season Pooler secured the double over their opponents with a 40-19 success at Dol Wiber in October and 27-13 in the return at Pontypool Park at the end of January.
