Pontypool welcome Glynneath to Pontypool Park on Saturday in the WRU Championship.
Pontypool are currently top of the table due to a better points for/against ratio, and have won both games so far – a 27-0 home win over Rhydyfelin followed by a 27-24 hard-fought victory at Trebanos last Saturday.
Glynneath are in ninth position with a 27-13 reverse at Beddau in their opening match, and last Saturday registered a 16-13 home win over Bedlinog.
Last season Pooler did the double over Glynneath – 33-10 at Abernant Park in September and 34-13 at Pontypool Park in early January.
The clubs first met in the first round of the WRU Cup back on 15 November 1975 with Pontypool running out 24-6 winners.
Please note that the replacements will be announced later.
