Pontypool will make a welcome return to league rugby on Saturday when, for the first time, they welcome Trebanos to Pontypool Park. Pooler's last league game was at Dol Wiber on 4 November in a 62-10 victory over Newcastle Emlyn. The enforced lay-off was due to the Autumn Internationals Series. Pontypool currently league the WRU National Championship table by 14 points, having won all 10 games played so far and only dropping 2 bonus points. Championship newcomers Trebanos have had an impressive first half of the season, occupying 4th place with 6 wins from 10 matches played and 32 league points.
