Pontypool will face their toughest test of the season so far on Saturday when they welcome Bargoed to Pontypool Park for what promises to be a mouth-watering clash as first take on second in the Specsavers WRU National Championship.
Pontypool lead the way with 10 bonus-point wins from their 10 games while Bargoed are eight points behind having won eight and drawn one of their nine games played.
The two clubs last met in the 2015-16 season with a 19-19 draw at Pontypool Park on 26 September and Bargoed ran out 17-8 winners in the return on 30 April.
