Pontypool take a break from league rugby on Saturday when they welcome the form team in Wales at the moment, Carmarthen Quins to Pontypool Park in the quarter-final of the Specsavers WRU National Cup.
Please note that kick-off will be at 5.15pm, due to the match being televised live on S4C.
Carmarthen Quins are currently on second place in the Indigo Group Premiership, behind leaders Cardiff, the team they comprehensively beat last time out at Carmarthen Park.
Pontypool and Carmarthen Quins have met twice before in the cup competition.
The first was on 3 December 2005 at Carmarthen Park when the home club ran out 28-14 winners.
Two seasons ago, on 27 January 2018 the clubs met here at Pontypool Park when Pontypool prevailed 23-8 in a match which was also televised live on S4C.
Pooler wing Jordan Thomas will be making his 50th league and WRU Cup appearance for the club.
