Pontypool will break new ground on Saturday when they travel to take on Championship newcomers Newcastle Emlyn for the very first time. Pooler will make the long trek west to Dol Wiber looking to continue the impressive start to the season with 4 wins and a draw in the first six games and are currently in fourth position in the league table.
Newcastle Emlyn had a great start to life in the Championship with a bonus-point away win at Llanharan but since then have failed to win a game and are 13th. However, some of their home defeats have been narrow ones so they will pose a difficult challenge for Pontypool.
Please note kick-off is at 1.30pm as the South Africa v Wales Rugby World Cup Quarter Final match at Twickenham kicks off at 4.00pm.
