For their penultimate home game of the season, Pontypool welcome Glynneath to Pontypool Park on Saturday for a SWALEC Championship match, kick-off 2.30pm.
Despite Glynneath’s lowly position in the league table, they gave Pooler a very tough match in the game at Abernant Park back in late November. Glynneath were deservedly leading 15-0 after an hour’s play but Pooler came back strongly to end up winning this closely fought game 19-15 in atrocious conditions.
Last Saturday, Pooler returned to winning ways with a 38-17 home success over the students of Cardiff Met while Glynneath were without a game as they were due to visit The Wern to play Merthyr, who were in SWALEC Cup action against Pontypridd.
Congratulations to versatile forward Matthew Thomas who will make his 100th appearance for the club (96 League and 4 WRU Cup).
