Scarfe gives youngsters rugby masterclass

Blaenavon Under-9s visited Pontypool Park for a training session with Pontypool, Dragons and Wales Under-20s hooker Sam Scarfe.

The session was made up of passing techniques, explosive defence structures and a mini game to end the session.

“It was great to see the little guys from Blaenavon down at the Park," said Tony Clarke, Community Outreach Co-ordinator.

"Many thanks to the BlanFam officials, family members and to our own Sam Scarfe for his time and input into the session.

"The Mike Powell Mortgages Most Committed Player was Kaiden Smith who led the side out with Ashley Sweet for our game with Aberavon”.
