Pontypool travel to Cyncoed on Saturday to face Cardiff Metropolitan University knowing that victory over the students will make them WRU National Championship champions with three games remaining.
Pooler will also be looking to extend their impressive winning streak in the league to 19 games. Cardiff Met are in 10th position in the league table with 7 wins from 19 games played and have 33 league points – four ahead of Newbridge who are in the relegation zone but Newbridge have a game in hand over the students.
When Cardiff Met visited Pontypool Park back in November, Pooler cruised to a 68-5 victory.
