Pontypool welcome last season’s runaway winners of the SSE SWALEC Championship - Bargoed RFC - to Pontypool Park on Saturday.
By their own high standards, Bargoed have made a disappointing start to this season's campaign having lost their opening two matches, but gained their first win last Saturday with a 38-20 away success at Cardiff Met.
Pooler have won their two away games so far this season with the only defeat being a 32-16 home reverse to Swansea. The Rhymney Valley side did the double over Pontypool last season so Pooler will be hoping to make amends.
