VENUE NOTE: Glynneath RFC are to perform a pitch inspection early Saturday morning to determine whether they can host the fixture at Abernant Park. Should their pitch fail their inspection, the match will be held at Pontypool Park instead. Pontypool RFC will inform supporters of the status of the fixture on Saturday morning.
Pontypool are on the road again this Saturday as they travel to Abernant Park to face Glynneath in the SWALEC Championship. Pooler recorded their biggest ever win at Cyncoed last Saturday with a convincing 45-10 score line against Cardiff Met and will be looking to stretch their run to nine matches, seven on the bounce and the seventh consecutive away win in the League.
Pooler currently occupy third place in the table while Glynneath, who lost 51-15 at home to leaders Merthyr last Saturday, are in 13th position.
